Grassroots football stats app
Statline: Sports Stat Tracker is a grassroots football stats app for parents on the touchline. You track one player live on football's own buttons. At full time you pick the headline for a card in your club's colours.
The buttons
The football buttons include G, AST, SH, SOT, TKL and INT: goals, assists, shots, shots on target, tackles and interceptions. Advanced mode adds saves (SV) and passes (PAS), and you can tap them in every game. The advanced breakdown after the game comes with Pro. Each button sits in the thumb zone. Tap to add. Hold a button, then tap to take one off. Undo reverses the last change. On iPhone, every tap gives a small buzz you can feel, so your eyes stay on the pitch.
The scoreboard and the headline
The scoreboard keeps goals. Your player can finish won 3-1 with no goals and 5 tackles. In Statline, 5 tackles can be the headline, with 2 interceptions underneath. You make that call at full time, and up to two more stats go on the line below.
The card
Add your club badge and Statline picks up the club colour. Save the card to Photos or send it to the group chat.
The winter season, five games at a time
Averages update after every game. Each game keeps its opponent, date, result and score. In Pro, the form guide lays the last five games side by side: TKL 3 · 5 · 2 · 6 · 4. Five games, one row.
Getting set up
Add your player and their team, then choose the sport. In the app, football is listed as soccer. The live screen loads that sport's own buttons. Add the club badge so the card picks up the club colour. When the game starts, tap NEW GAME and keep one thumb on the buttons. No account needed.
